JEE ADVANCED RESULT
The JEE Advanced a national level exam that is conducted specifically for the admissions into the undergraduate engineering courses offered in the IITs and NITs. Since the exam is so important, there’s no doubt that every single student who appears for the exam counts days until the result is announced.Everyone knows that JEE Advanced is the stage 2 of the JEE Main and only those students who qualify JEE Main appear for this exam. This year, the JEE Advanced exam scheduled on 20th May 2018 and is regulated by IIT Kanpur.
After the completion of the exam, around 22nd- 25th May 2018, the committee will send all the candidates a copy of their responses, so that they are able to cross check their responses with the Answer Key. And, this Answer Key will be available on the site on 29th May 2018.
Once the answer key is issued, the students will have ample amount of time to check their responses. And, if any discrepancy is found, they can raise their issues by contacting the concerned authority. Finally, the result for JEE Advanced 2018 will be declared on 10th June 2018.
Like the rest of the process, the result too will be announced through online mode only. So, it is advised to the candidates to regularly check the site. No individual will be sent their rank cards separately. However, there is a possibility that the candidates may receive a notification regarding the result via text on their registered mobile number.
It is suggested to the candidates to check the details on the scorecard before/ after downloading it. The details mentioned on the JEE Advanced scorecard should include,
- Name of the candidate
- Candidates’ Roll Number
- Candidates’ issued Registration Number
- Candidate’s Photograph and Signature
- Name of the candidate’s Parent/ Guardian
- Gender
- Candidate’s Date of Birth
- Category
- Person with Disability
- Candidate’s Nationality
- Candidate’s registered Mobile Number
- Candidate’s registered Email Address
- Status of Candidates’ documents, whether the submitted documents are valid or not.
- Exam qualification status- Qualified or Not Qualified
- Ranks secured in both Common Rank List and Category Rank
The candidates should keep in mind that after the declaration of the result on 10th June 2018, the officials will issue the Rank List separately on the basis of which the further process of the admissions will continue.
Therefore, the result declaration of JEE Advanced 2018 is a big reveal but is not the end step of JEE Advanced admission process.
