The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level entrance test which is conducted for medical aspirants to seek admission to the MBBS, BDS and Ayush courses offered by the Medical Institutes approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The application form for NEET 2019 is available online from November 1, 2018. From this year, NEET will be conducted only once by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET Application Form 2019
Candidates are advised to go through the entire eligibility criteria of NEET before filling the online application form. The important details pertaining to NEET 2019 are provided below:- The application form is available only in the online mode.
- While filling the application form, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of recent passport sized photograph and signature.
- After filling the application form successfully, a confirmation page will be generated. Download the same and take its printout.
- There is no need to send the copy of the confirmation page to the examination authority.
Application Fee:
The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is INR 1,400 whereas for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category, the application fee is INR 750. The fees of the application form can be paid either in the online mode through Credit/ Debit Card, Net Banking or in the offline mode by generating e-challan.NEET Eligibility Criteria
The detailed eligibility criterion for NEET 2019 is given below:- Candidates who wish to apply for NEET 2019 must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31 of the year of getting admission. However, the maximum age limit to apply for this examination is 25 years (30 years for SC/ ST and OBC category candidates) on the date of examination.
- Indian National/ NRI/ PIOs/ OCIS/ Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET.
- Aadhaar number is not mandatory to apply for NEET.
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized board to apply for NEET 2019. Students who are appearing for Class 12 are also eligible to apply for NEET 2019.
