Ques. What are the basic eligibility criteria of NEET 2020?

Ans. Candidates need to fulfill the following conditions in order to be eligible to appear for NEET 2020:

• Aspirants must have born on or after December 31, 2003 or have attained the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2019.
• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates belonging to General Category need to score an aggregate of at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST / OBC candidates) in their Class 12 examination.
• Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET.

Ques. What is the maximum number of attempts for NEET MBBS?

Answer. There is no limit on the number of times to appear for NEET. Candidates can appear to this examination as many times he/ she wants to.

Ques. I will be opting Oriya as the medium of the question paper, am I eligible to participate under 15% AIQ seats?

Answer. Yes, only those candidates who will cross the NEET cut off will be considered eligible to participate for the 15% All India Quota seats.

Answer. Yes, candidates having a gap year between Class 11 and Class 12 will be considered eligible for NEET 2020.

Answer. Only candidates belonging to General Category and have attained an age of 25 years or above on or before the date of examination (30 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC Category) are eligible to appear for the examination.
