Ministry of Health and Welfare Scraps AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS from 2020
In a recent interview with Ministry of Health and Welfare, Dr Harsh Vardhan has declared that from 2020, NEET will be only entrance examination for admission of candidates in medical UG colleges in the country. National Testing Agency (NTA) the official exam conducting body had released the official notification for NEET 2020 on August 21, 2019. Admission of candidates in AIIMS and JIPMER will now be taken through NEET 2020. As per the notification for NEET 2020, the exam will be conducted on May 3, 2020 in pen and paper mode. Online registration for the exam will commence from December 2, 2019 and the last date to fill the application form of NEET 2020 is December 31, 2019. The online correction window for the application form will tentatively be made available in the second week of January, 2020.
