Central University of Odisha Joins CUCET
With a view of increasing diversity of Central University of Odisha (CUO), the university has decided to join Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Confirming the same, CUO VC Prof Ramabrahmam asserted that to uphold the national character of the university in the true sense it will now grant admission to the students based on their CUCET score.
Prof Ramabrahmam also declared that The CUO is also entering into agreements for industrial tie-ups with giants like Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL), National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) and other Navratna organizations.
It may be mentioned here that CUCET is a national-level exam jointly regulated by ten Central Universities till date.
This change in the admission process, as promulgated by the VC, is an attempt to promote and enhance the quality of education provided to the students.
Applications will be made available online to all the students across India for thirty courses. Students can fill their choice of course(s) in the online application form.

If the coordinator of CUCET, Prof Pujari is to be believed, CUCET will be conducted in 112 cities across the country. The CUCET 2020 application form is yet to be rolled out.
