Accounts Exam of CBSE Class XII 2020 Full Analysis
On March 5, 2020, the CBSE accounts subject board exam was conducted in multiple examination halls and over lakhs of candidates appeared for the exam. This board exam was a major setback for the candidates as the paper was a lengthy one.
The questions that came were difficult and the last section of the exam was difficult as accounted for by the students. In the wake of the ongoing corona-virus the students were asked to wear masks and carry hand sanitizers with them to the exam hall.
The timings of the board exam were from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and the students who were late comers were not allowed to enter the examination hall.
As the students were entering the hall only those students who had the admit cards with them were allowed to appear for the exam. Strict regulations were followed by the board officials.
Exam Pattern of Accounts Paper
To get high marks in the accounts exam it is vital that the students understand the exam pattern well. For the commerce students, accountancy is one of the main papers that can shoot up their percentage of marks achieved in Class XII. Being a scoring subject, if the students understand the nitty-gritties of the exam pattern then they will excel for sure.
The exam is of 80 marks and the candidates have three hours to solve the question paper. The students must note that any candidate will be provided with extra time to write and all have to submit the answer sheet to the invigilator on time.
Those candidates who are caught cheating will be debarred from giving the exam further and will be marked absent. The question paper will have two parts that are part A and B. In Part B of the question paper the students will have the choice between Analysis of Financial Statements and Computerized Accounting from which they can choose only one.
The Way Ahead
The students must keep in mind that the board exams are not easy and the students should make sure that they are able to complete the exam in the stipulated time.
