BITSAT 2020 Important Dates
BITSAT 2020 Important Dates: The BITSAT 2020 notification will be released in the month of December 2019. All the eligible aspirants must ensure to download it and keep a note of all the important dates of BITSAT. The BITSAT 2020 important dates given in the notification will serve as a reminder for the aspirants as to when will the application form of BITSAT will be released. The tentative month of the release of the online application form of BITSAT is January 2020. The aspirants must ensure that they fill the eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the application form of BITSAT 2020. Only those students who are appearing for the 12th boards in the year 2020 or have passed their boards in the year 2019 are eligible to apply for the BITSAT 2020. The students must also ensure that they meet the percentage requirements regarding the individual subjects and also the aggregate percentage. The admit card of BITSAT 2020 will be generated in the month of April 2020. The result will be declared in the month of May or June 2020, post to which the counselling process will be initiated by BITS. Eligibility of BITSAT

The aspirant should have obtained a
-
Minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT)
-
Minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th examination.

At least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.

The aspirants are advised to verify all the details provided in the admit card, with respect to the details they had filled in the application form and during the slot booking.
BITSAT Result
The BITSAT Result will be tentatively declared in the month of May or June 2020. The result will be generated in the online mode. Each aspirant will be generated a scorecard by the examination conducting body. The scorecard will comprise of the details of the result along with the individual score of the candidate. Separate hard copy of the result or the scorecard will not be posted to the candidates. The candidates must take a printout of the scorecard and keep it with themselves until the day of the admission.
Merit List of BITSAT 2020
The merit list of BITSAT is generated by the exam conducting body. The merit list is generated on the basis of the performance of all the participating aspirants of BITSAT 2020. Separate merit lists will be prepared for the individual courses. The merit rank is assigned to the candidate on the basis of his/her performance in the BITSAT 2020. The score in relative to the score of the rest of the candidates will determine the rank of the individual. In case of a scenario where the score of 2 candidates is same, then in such case, the tie-breaking policy will be applied. Preference will be given to those candidates who have obtained more marks in Maths/Biology (for B.Pharmacy) and Physics for other courses.
