Environmental is a branch of engineering in which students study all the ill effects of
human activities on the
environment. Humans are evolving day by day. If humans have to stay alive, they need to use

But today we see that there are various environmental issues like pollution. Pollution is a
broad term. Humans use this
word very casually. Pollution means disbalance in the environment. Disbalance leads to
unsuitable living conditions. So,
humans have to make sure that the environment is in balance. There are various kinds of
disbalance and based on this
disbalance, pollution is classified into various categories like water pollution, Air
pollution, Land pollution, etc.
Humans are continuously increasing their population without any knowledge of the limited
resources and their
distribution. They had to understand that resources are limited. More the population, the
more will be the exploitation
of the resources.
Environmental Engineers play a very important role especially in today’s era where the
environment is in danger.

Work Description
The future scope of this field is very high. As living conditions are deteriorating so to make it habitable humans have to innovate new ways to make living better. This innovation is done by environmental engineers. The utmost important thing for a person is his health. And that health is getting deteriorated. So now an environmental engineer must make this world a better place.
Above we have discussed the various jobs which are under aerospace engineering. But each job is different from the other. When a student selects their career path or specialization, they never do the detailed research about their career path. When they try to know about their selected career path, they will always stick to their research regarding good colleges and their related placements. But here students have to understand that this short-term information will not give you the actual reality of the future job prospects. When students research long-term prospects, they will get to know that there are various technicalities and nuances regarding the job that students had to understand before choosing this career option otherwise students will regret knowing the reality of the job. Because on paper, a job description seems very attractive but in reality, it is not like that. - You can pursue MTech in environmental engineering. MTech in environmental engineering is a two-year duration postgraduate program. But there is an eligibility criterion to pursue MTech in Environmental engineering. Minimum 60% is required in the BTech program. MTech in Environmental engineering consists of 4 semesters. If a student wants to do MTech in environmental engineering then he has to appear for GATE Examination (Civil Engineering).
