COMEDK UGET 2020
The COMEDK UGET is a state-level entrance exam which is a very prominent exam for undergraduate admissions and it is conducted annually. Eligibility of COMEDK UGET
There are different sets of requirements for each entrance exam. The first thing which the students must do is check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form as without meeting the requirements they won’t be able to give the exam. There is a different set of eligibility criteria set for COMEDK UGET according to the choice of course. The students who will apply for the B.Tech. should have passed 12th with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
The B.Arch. students must secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a total of 50% aggregate in 12th. For B.Arch. the student should have qualified NATA to be eligible for participating in the counseling process of COMEDK UGET. The applicants of B.Arch. course are not required to fill the application form as they are required to submit a separate application form for the counseling process only. The students who want to pursue the medical and dental programs have to submit their NEET scores to go further in the application process.
How to apply for COMEDK UGET
The candidates have to follow various steps in order to fill the COMEDK UGET Application Form which will be available on the official website itself. It is required that the candidates fill the application form correctly as they won’t get chances to change the information which is once filled. On the official website (comedk.org) the students will find the link to the application form where the students have to register themselves. Students should fill all the details asked in the form with their valid email id and mobile numbers for further communication. Once they have registered they will receive email id and password details on their mobile which will be the login credentials which they have to put on the website.
In the application form, the details have to be filled, photograph and signature of the candidate and their father/guardian has to be uploaded. After the successful filling of the application form, the candidate has to move forward to the payment section but the candidates must check the application form once if they have mentioned any incorrect details and then make the payment. After the payment is done the students should download a copy of the application form and the payment receipt safely with them. The login credentials provided to the candidate at the time of application should be saved for the further admission process.
COMEDK UGET Exam Pattern
The students should be aware of the exam pattern before the exam day as they won’t get surprises in the exam. The COMEDK UGET is going to be conducted in the online mode and in English only. There is no negative marking which is followed in this entrance exam and plus one mark would be awarded if the answer is correct. The total number of marks is 180 and the exam is of 3 hours.

COMEDK UGET Admit Card
The Hall Ticket of COMEDK UGET will be provided online on the official website. The tentative date on which the admit card would be available for download is in May 2020. To download the admit card, the students have to download the admit card from the website by entering their login details and then downloading the file. Admit card is the most important document which is required on the test day as entry to the exam centre is given only after the checking of the admit card.
It is mandatory that every student must carry a copy of the admit card and a valid identity proof along with them on the exam day. Also till the admission is not completed the admit card should be saved by the candidate as this document is asked for in the counseling process. The details mentioned on the admit card should match with the documents uploaded and should be correct.
COMEDK UGET Answer Key
The most awaited document by the students is the answer key to the exam which will be uploaded online by the official authorities. The provisional and the final answer key are uploaded on the website for the reference of the students. The tentative date of uploading of answer key is in the third week of May 2020.
If any candidate wants to oppose the answer key then he would have to pay INR 500 to the official authority. When the answer key gets uploaded then the result gets uploaded only on the official website. The students should keep a tab on the official website as all important information and notices get published on the website itself.
Result of COMEDK UGET
The tentative date when the result of COMEDK UGET would be declared is in the third week of May. It would be uploaded on the official website itself and the candidate have to enter their login details to check the result. Only after the result gets published the official authority publishes the result. The counseling process gets commenced through the results of the merit list. The details which will be mentioned on the result are Name, Application/Registration No., Candidate’s Photo, Admit Card/ TAT No., Candidate’s Contact Details, Date of Birth, Category, Stream Chosen, Unique photo ID Proof details, Test Score and Test Rank.
Merit List of COMEDK UGET
A merit list is prepared on the basis of the result. Only the candidates who have their name on the merit list of COMEDK UGET they would be able to participate in the counseling process. The parameters which are considered while developing the COMEDK UGET Rank List is performance in the entrance exam, marks obtained, rank and the total number of seats available for admission. Students need to match the cut off requirements to get their name into the merit list of COMEDK UGET. If there is a tie in the merit list then the tie-breaking method followed by the official authorities is given below.
- The candidate with the fewer number of wrong answers in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be given a higher rank than the other.
- If there is still a tie in the marks obtained then the aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics in COMEDK UGET are considered and the one who has higher marks get the higher rank.
- If a tie is still there then the marks obtained in Mathematics in COMEDK UGET are considered for giving the higher rank.
- If the tie still persists then the candidate who is older in age gets the higher rank by the examination authorities.
COMEDK UGET Counselling Schedule
The candidates who get shortlisted in the merit list would be moved to the next round in the admission process that is the counseling round where the colleges get allotted to the students according to the ranks which they have achieved in the merit list. COMEDK UGET is a performance-based entrance exam therefore only the ranks obtained by the students would be considered while giving admission into the various colleges who accept the COMEDK UGET scores. The format in which the COMEDK UGET counseling would be executed is the centralized single-window format and in offline mode. There will be only two counseling rounds.

The following are the steps which the candidates should follow for the counseling process:
- Every candidate on the basis of the rank secured would be allotted venues where they have to report for the document verification. At the venue the document verification would be completed and this process would only be done in the offline mode.
- The biometrics, photo verification would be done and then a registration slip would be handed over to the student.
- The students are allowed to fill only 3 choices of colleges and courses according to their preference. According to the ranks achieved by the student, the colleges would be allotted.
- When the seat gets allotted to the student he has to accept the seat and payment of the academic fees has to be done. It is important that the student keeps the fee slip safely with him.
