JEE Main Application Form 2024, Form Correction, Registration Dates, Fees, Process
JEE Main 2024 registrations, which were expected to start in the 2nd week of November is likely to be deferred to the 4th week of November.
The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE is an engineering entrance assessment conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into institutes across India. The exam consists of two parts: IIT JEE Main and IIT JEE Advanced. Since IIT JEE Main has been conducted twice a year, in January and April. A candidate can choose to appear in one or both the sessions. All the candidates who passed class 12th in 2024 appearing for the class 12th examinations in 2024 are eligible to apply for JEE. There is no age limit for JEE Main registration 2024.
The JEE Main Registration Date for the January 2024 session might be delayed due to the unexpected situation that the pandemic has left us in. It is also likely that the registration as well as the examination dates of both the sessions will be changed. Last year NTA had announced the exam dates of JEE Main exam on 22 August. NTA had published the complete calendar of all its examinations including NEET at nta.ac.in and published a press release for it. JEE Main registration started in September, and ended in October. By November last year, the form corrections had been completed. Since there has been no official notification from the National Testing Agency yet, there are reports claiming that JEE Main 2024 will be held in February and May, instead of January and April. NTA will most probably decide JEE dates only after CBSE confirms its board exam dates.
