JEE Advanced Application Form 2020
JEE Advanced 2020 will be held online on May 17, 2020 at various exam centers across India and abroad. It is a national-level exam conducted by IIT Delhi for selection of students in various Bachelor’s, Integrated Master's and Dual-Degree programs (entry at Class XII level). It is conducted once a year unlike the JEE Main that is conducted twice. JEE Advanced Result will be declared on June 8, 2020. Result of Architecture Aptitude Test will be declared on June 12, 2020.
JEE Advanced 2020 will be conducted in two slots. Paper I will be conducted in the morning slot between 9am to 12 noon. Paper II will be conducted in the afternoon slot between 2.30pm to 5.00pm.
JEE Advanced Application Form will be generated online in the first week of May 2020. JEE Advanced registration last date is in the second week of May 2020. It is mandatory for every aspirant to fill in the form before JEE Advanced 2020 application form date expires. JEE Advanced application form 2020 can be filled by foreign nationals to this time, in order to apply for the exam.
Firstly, the number of candidates to be shortlisted for the JEE Advanced 2020 has been increased by 10,000. Secondly, the JEE Advanced exam will be held in San Francisco, USA for the first time.

How to fill the JEE Advanced 2020 Application Form
Step I: Registration
- Enter your Personal details.
- Enter your Contact details.
- After filling in the above details, choose a strong password which can be used for the purpose of logging into your account.
- Submit.
Step II: Filling in the details
- Click on “Complete Application Form”. The details filled in during the registration process will be reflected in your application form.
- Enter your Personal Information regarding: Nationality, State Code of Eligibility, Category, PwD category or not, Diabetic or not, Place of Residence and Mode of Preparation.
- Enter the details of the Exam you are applying for your preference of Exam centres, medium of question paper.
- Enter your education details of Class X and Class XII.
- Enter additional details and your family income information.
- Submit.
What if the chosen Password is not strong?
The given instructions have to be followed in order to choose a strong password:
- Password should be between 8 to 13 characters.
- It should consist of at least one uppercase, one lowercase letter and one numeric value besides a special character.
- It should not be shared with anyone.
What if I want to reset my Login Password?
Given instructions have to be followed to reset the password:
- Security questions pop out during the process of registration.
- This question has to be answered by the candidate during the process of resetting the password.
- A verification code will be sent to the candidates on the registered mobile number.
- Reset link will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID.
- Using the link the candidate can reset his or her password.
Step III: Uploading the Documents
- All the documents as per the specification mentioned above have to be uploaded.
Step IV: Payment of Fee
- Candidates have to pay the requisite fee mentioned above to complete the registration process.
- Payment can be done both Online and Offline
What if I want to pay through Online Mode?
- Click on “Pay Registration Fee”.
- You will be redirected to the State Bank Multi Option Payment System.
- Choose a mode of payment amidst Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
- A unique registration number will be generated after successful payment.
- Take a printout of the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
What if I want to pay through Offline Mode?
- Select SBI Branch, generate a Challan and take its printout.
- Do the payment at any SBI branch using the e-challan and cash.
- Enter the transaction details after the payment is done to generate a unique registration number.
- Take a printout of the registration details along with the generated number.
Payment Procedure for SAARC and Non-SAARC Exam Centre Candidates
- Make the payment on the MOPS page.
- International debit/credit card issued by Foreign banks outside India has to be used.
- Take a printout of the registration details along with the generated number.
Note: Cards issued in India will not be able to make the payment in terms of US currency.
Step V: Printing of Confirmation Page
Take a printout of the Confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference.
