NTA has released the official notification on December 02, 2024 at 5:00 pm in online mode at www.ntaneet.nic.in. NEET Application Form Online details have given below. Candidates are advised to check the NEET registration process in detail. The authorities have extended the dates to fill the application form for the registered candidates. This facility is available from February 3, 2024 to February 9, 2024. Applicant must have to register first before login and apply NEET application form online. The candidate has to upload photographs, thumb impression, and payment as per instruction details are given below.
The NEET Application form online fee has been increased to Rs 1500 for the General or unreserved category. For NCL OBC candidates will have to pay Rs 1400 while SC/ST/OBC candidates will have to pay Rs 800. Candidates must ensure the eligibility criteria, qualification, and payment transactions as well as correct information while filling up the NEET Application Form Online.

How to Apply for NEET 2024?
- Candidates are allowed to apply for NEET (UG) 2024 through ‘Online’ mode only
- Visit www.ntaneet.nic.in and apply online through filling the form. No applications will be accepted through other modes
- There is a restriction of submission on the NEET Application Form Online. One student is allowed to fill only one form.
- Candidates are advised to follow the instructions on the official NTA website only. Following not the proper may lead to disqualification of candidature.
- Candidate should cross verify the mobile and contact number provided as this will be used for further communication.
Instructions for filling NEET Application Form Online:
Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. You should go through it carefully to check all the details and eligibility. Never fill more than one form otherwise your candidature may get canceled.
What Steps To Follow to Apply Online:
Step1: Use your parent’s unique Email Id and Mobile number to fill an online form.
Step2: You should note down the system generated reference number once you fillup the form.
Step3: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s latest Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb), Post Card size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 50 kb 300 kb) and Candidate’s Signature
(file size: 4kb 30kb), Left hand thumb impression (file size: 10 kb50 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
(In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, righthand thumb impression may be used.), Class X Passing Certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
For photography, the focus needs to be on face (80% face coverage, ears visible, on white background).
Step4: Candidate can pay the fee using SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Netbanking/UPI. Always keep the proof of payment for future reference. In case your transaction failed, connect to the helpline number and never make the payment again without confirmation from the concerned department. Download and print the remittance fee document for future reference.

- Candidate should visit the center of examination mentioned on the admit card. No Travel allowance would be allowed.
- Change in date and venue of the exam is not possible in any circumstances.
- While appearing to the exam, always keep 46 passport and postcard size photo(4’’x6’’)with a white background.
- These photographs can be used for further examination and counseling process.
- The use of Aadhar card may be used for identity verification. Currently, NTA is undergoing the process to request permission for it.
Note:
- The final submission of the application will not be considered until step 6 is completed followed by step 3 and step 4.
- Pay the fee only when you are sure. In any case, a refund would not be entertained by NTA.
- The entire process of NEET (UG) 2024 is online, so you need not send the documents by post/fax or email.
- The use of the following instruments are strictly prohibited during exam: Instruments like Geometry or Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, Document Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Hall/Room.
- Candidates are advised to go through with the application process carefully as
False/misleading information will lead to the cancellation of candidature and/or criminal proceedings under the laws of the country.
Date of Entrance Test
The date of the NEET exam has been declared. NEET (UG) will be conducted on 3 May 2024 (Sunday) from 02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. The duration of the test will be three (03) hours.

Mode of Examination
NEET (UG) – 2024 is a Pen & Paperbased test. The sheet provided in the exam hall is specially designed to read the answers correctly.
Duration of Test
The duration of the test would be three (03) hours.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the detailed specification of eligibility and qualifications for candidates appearing in NEET. The eligibility criteria contain various parameters like Age, Date of Birth, Pass percentage, etc. which candidates have to meet to appear for NEET. Here find the details below:

Qualifications and Qualifying Examination Codes
To be eligible for NEET (UG), candidates need to refer to the following table for qualifying examination criteria.
CODE: 01 A candidates who will be appearing their class 12th exam in 2024 and awaiting result must choose this code while applying to the NEET. But the condition is that they will have to qualify in the class 12th exam, otherwise, their candidature might be canceled.
CODE: 02 The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the NCERT.
In Addition to that if the candidates have passed their 10+2 exams with biology as an extra subject can also participate in NEET 2024. However, candidates who have done 10+2 from a distance or open learning shall not be eligible for NEET.
CODE: 03 The Intermediate/Predegree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examining the body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.
CODE: 04 The Preprofessional/Premedical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English after passing either the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination. The Preprofessional/Premedical examination shall include practical tests in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
CODE: 05 The first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.
CODE: 06 B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc. Examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and further that he/ she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
CODE: 07 Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.

Before submission of an application form, make the following preparations:

Print the NEET Acknowledgement Receipt
After following the whole form filling process of NEET, candidates are advised to print and keep the receipt of the NEET Online Application Form. however, a copy of the acknowledgment receipt will be sent on email and link to download it on registered mobile number. Question: What is the last date to fill the NEET application form?
