UPSEE 2020

UPSEE 2020: UPSEE 2020 is an entrance examination for aspirants who want to take admission into the various degree level engineering courses. It has been initiated by the by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).

Along with these many programmes, UPSEE 2020 is also conducted for lateral entry admissions in the second year to the courses of B.Tech, B. Pharm and MCA.

It is a state level exam, conducted once in a year. It is conducted in both English and Hindi languages. The exam notification will be released tentatively in the month of December 2019 or January 2020. The mode of generation of the UPSEE application form is online, on the official website of the AKTU. The UPSEE admit card will be generated via online, tentatively in the month of April of 2020. The exam will be conducted offline in one of the test centers as opted by the candidate. The result of UPSEE 2020 will be declared in June 2020, through online. The counselling will start in the last week of June and carry on till the last week of July 2020 (tentatively).

UPSEE - An overview

The UPSEE or the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is organized by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). AKTU is a public collegiate University, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was established as the UPTU through the Government of Uttar Pradesh on May 8th 2000. After being bifurcated into 2 universities namely Gautam Buddh Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University, on May 1 2010, these two were again merged into one and were established as the AKTU in the year 2013.

AKTU is perhaps one of the largest technical Universities in Asia. AKTU offers various undergraduate courses in Engineering, Architecture, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design etc. leading to B.Tech, B.Arch, BHMCT,B.Pharma, BFAD etc respectively. The University offers postgraduate courses in computer applications and business administration leading to the degrees of MCA, MBA and MBA (Rural Development).UPSEE .

UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who want to give the UPSEE 2020 must check whether they meet the eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the application form. The required general eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2020 is stated as below:

1. Candidates applying to UPSEE 2020 are required to pass their Class 12 or qualifying examination from any institution located in the state of Uttar Pradesh or any state outside of Uttar Pradesh (provided they furnish the domicile certificate of their father/mother stating that they are not domicile of the state of Uttar Pradesh).
2. Candidates are required to possess Aadhaar Card issued by Government of India in order to be eligible to apply.
3. Candidates are also required to fulfill the UPSEE eligibility criteria 2020 specific to each course.

Important points regarding Eligibility

UPSEE B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

1. All candidates are required to meet the general UPSEE 2020 eligibility criteria.
2. Candidates must have passed their intermediary or Class 12 examination from any recognized Board/Institution in the state of Uttar Pradesh or outside with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject.
3. The candidates are also required to have passed in the above-mentioned subjects without grace.
4. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of verification of the document.

UPSEE B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

1. All candidates are required to meet the general UPSEE 2020 eligibility criteria.
2. Candidates must have passed their intermediary or Class 12 examination from any recognized Board/Institution in the state of Uttar Pradesh or outside.
3. A candidate must also have passed in the individual subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subject/Engineering Drawing without grace and must have obtained an aggregate of at least 50% in the three subjects.
4. Candidates with a three-year course diploma in Architecture recognized by the State/Central Government are also eligible to apply provided they have passed the candidates have passed the diploma course without grace and have secured an aggregate of at least 50%.

Application Form of UPSEE 2020

Prerequisites to fill the UPSEE 2020 Application Form

1. A functioning Email address and a mobile number.
2. A scanned image of the passport photograph of the candidate, which must be less than 100 kb.
3. A scanned signature of the candidate, which must be less than 30 kb.
4. An online payment source such as Net banking/Wallets/Credit Card/Debit Card to pay the fee.

Exam Pattern of UPSEE 2020

All question papers (except part B of B.Arch exam) will carry objective multiple-choice questions. Answers will be evaluated by OMR methodology. All question papers for undergraduate admissions (except Part B of B.Arch exam) will be in Hindi and English both, but in case of any ambiguity, the English version shall be considered final.

The Drawing Aptitude Test is aimed to evaluate a candidate for his understanding of Scale and Proportion; sense of perspective, color and; understanding of the effects of light on objects through shades and shadows

- Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appealing manner

- Visualising and drawing the effects of light on the objects and their shadow cast on the surroundings.

UPSEE Admit Card 2020

The Hall ticket of UPSEE 2020 will be generated online, starting from the second week of April 2020, till the third week of April 2020. The aspirant must take multiple printouts of the admit card and preserve them for future use. One must ensure that the details mentioned in the admit card of UPSEE 2020 are valid and correct. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate must contact the exam conducting body immediately.

UPSEE Answer Key

UPSEE Answer Key 2020 : The Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will release the official UPSEE 2020 answer key in the third week of April 2020 tentatively. The aspirants can download the answer key of UPSEE 2020 through its official website. The UPSEE answer key will be released in the .pdf format. It will consist of both the question paper and their respective answers in the whole .pdf file. The candidates can calculate their score with the help of the UPSEE 2020 answer key , but only the official marking scheme has to be followed.

UPSEE Merit List 2020

UPSEE Merit List 2020 :Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will announce the merit list of UPSEE 2020 in June 2020, tentatively. The promulgation of the merit list of UPSEE 2020 will be done online on the official website. The UPSEE rank list will include the names of the qualified candidates along with their secured ranks. In order to check their result, the candidate must login using their credentials. In case two or more candidates secure the same scores, a tie breaking method will be followed by the authorities.

UPSEE Counseling Schedule 2020

UPSEE 2020 Counseling Schedule : Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will be conducting the counselling of UPSEE 2020 in the online mode for all the candidates who have secured a rank in the UPSEE 2020. The UPSEE counselling 2020 will start tentatively in the last week of June 2020. There will be a registration process for every round of counselling. Verification of documents during the counseling process is mandatory. Allotment of seats will be done as per the secured UPSEE ranks, preferences of college and course and availability of seat.
